MULTI-AWARD-WINNING actress Zimiphi "Zimdollar" Biyela’s dream has come true.
The 41-year-old actress from Empangeni, KZN is bouncing back on Mzansi’s small screens after she was absent for a year.
The Ukhozi FM presenter has joined Umkhokha: The Curse which airs on Mzansi Magic every Monday to Friday at 8.30 pm, playing the role of Mengameli, who is Menga's mother.
Zimdollar, known for her roles on Mzani's top shows such as Uzalo, Durban Gen, and eHostela, expressed her excitement about joining Umkhokha.
She said she's been a fan of the show since it started and often wondered why she wasn't part of it.

Zimdollar emphasised the importance of patience and trusting in God's timing, stating that what is meant for you will always find its way to you.
“I'm grateful that I usually get roles that suit me well, but I know I won't always get characters that fit perfectly. However, I avoid playing roles that don't align with my personality and beliefs,” she said.
The Ukhozi FM presenter said she's happy to see more TV productions originating from KZN, which helps prevent the creative industry from moving to Joburg.
She said she's still asking herself why she was not part of Shaka iLembe.
Zimdollar's talent has been recognised with awards, including Best Supporting Actress at the Simon "Mabhunu" Sabela KZN Film and Television Awards in 2018 and Best Actress at the Sebenza Women Awards in 2020.
