IN A daring dream to make history, Andile KaMajola once tried to do something huge, to be the first local star to fill up a big venue like Moses Mabhida Stadium, even before big names like Cassper Nyovest and Khuzani Mpungose could.
But back in 2015, things didn’t go as planned, and the event was a flop. Nine years later, the gospel hero is back with a big goal.
He wants to show everyone he’s a true legend by filling up the stadium for real this time.
“I want to fill up this [Moses Mabhida] stadium. And I'll do it,” said Andile.
The pressure to organise the 2015 show was overwhelming, leading to his fainting and subsequent hospitalisation days before the event.
He mentioned that this time, he has assembled a team to manage the organisation and all related aspects.

"It's not that my show in 2015 was a flop. But the biggest sponsor withdrew at the 11th hour. That was highly frustrating for me, hence I fainted," Andile said.
He has learned that organising such a significant event is challenging, which is why he has formed a team.
The Nanoma Niyangibona hitmaker recently launched his non-profit organisation, the Andile KaMajola Legacy Foundation, as part of his 25th-anniversary celebration in music.
In the lead-up to the stadium event, the team has organised various shows, including one on Saturday, 18 May, at the Gugu Dlamini Park in Durban, where he and his fans will pray for the elections.
"All this is part of me correcting past mistakes, which made some of my fans lose confidence in me. But as a legend, I'm trying to make it up to them. God is with me," he said.
Although he hasn't set a date for the stadium show, he hopes it'll take place later this year.
