TWO cops, who worked hard to ensure justice was served for their victims, are beaming with pride!
Warrant Officer Lesetja Abram Tala ensured justice was served for a 13-year-old girl who was raped by a stranger.
In September 2023, the girl was on her way home when the stranger lured her to his place.
Upon getting into his shack in Ivory Park Extension 2, the man undressed the girl and started raping her.
Captain Nelda Sekgobela, spokeswoman for Ekurhuleni District Police, said the girl managed to escape and asked for help from the community.
Swift action by neighbours led to the arrest of Mokgale Khoza.
Police found the girl's panty in the suspect's shack, and he was nabbed.

Khoza (27) was recently found guilty and sentenced to 25 years imprisonment by the Thembisa Magistrates Court.
The girl's family said they were happy with the sentence.
In another case, which happened in Springs, Ekurhuleni, a rape suspect received a life sentence for rape and 12 months for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Detective Constable Thembile Gunxwana was investigating the case.
Captain Sekgobela said on 16 March 2019, around 8.30pm, a 17-year-old girl was home in the backyard room she and her mother rented at the accused's place.
"The accused, Mandla Dungu Sibiya, came to the room and told her to keep the doors closed as people would rape her.
"The girl stood up and closed the door, and suddenly the accused grabbed, assaulted her with a pot on the face and raped her," she said.
Sekgobela said the accused was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison and a further 12 months imprisonment for the assault case.
