Choreographer and media personality, Somizi Mhlongo has apologized to Zahara following comments he made about her at SAMA23.
Somizi was co-hosting the awards alongside Tumi Morake on Saturday night in Sun City.
Towards the end of the broadcast, Somizi joked about Zahara already being at the bar, which Zahara took offence to and has since threatened to sue Somgaga.
However, Somizi has now spoken out, defending his comments and apologizing to the singer.

Speaking to SowetanLive, Somgaga said: "I only mentioned the bar and her name, not alcohol. But if that offended her I am sorry. I did not mean to hurt or harm her. It was just a joke”.
However, yesterday it was well reported in the media that Zahara didn’t care whether or not it was joke.
"Askies Zahara, I was just having fun. I joked about a lot of people, including Khanyi Mbau that she was white. I made a joke about Babes Wodumo and she was laughing," Somizi told the publication.
