MZANSI celebrities and the NJM Foundation team up to bring hope to kasi communities.
The non-profit organisation teamed up with former Generations actress and businesswoman Sonia Mbele, Muvhango actor Sydney Ramakuela and businessman Themba "SkeemGP" Nzimande.
The foundation was active at Koinonia Bible Church, Unit 14, in Sebokeng on Saturday, 4 May and handed over food parcels, blankets, school uniforms and sports equipment to the community.
Jones Maphalaphathwa, the founder of the NJM Foundation, explained that their goal is to see young children happy and support them in their growth.
"We start a journey with them, see them grow and support them. It's not easy, but we will do our best, with the help of community leaders. All we need is this platform to guide them and work with them," Jones said.

Sonia Mbele reflected on her own experiences as a child benefiting from similar initiatives.
"When you see people doing these things on a large scale, it's very moving. I don't just perform in any city; I don't loot. So when I perform, I give 10 per cent of my earnings to either a retirement home or a charity. We all give in our own way," said Sonia.
Gogo Moloi (74), one of the recipients, expressed her gratitude. "I am very happy and thank God for you. God is working through you because he has no hands and I thank you for allowing him to use you. May you continue to do the same for others," said Gogo Moloi.
The community turned up in large numbers and were entertained throughout the day by local musicians including Master KG.
