JAZZ lovers will get their money's worth when renowned jazz enthusiast Nothemba Madumo joins 702.
This was announced by Primedia on Tuesday, 26 March.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Nothemba said she was happy to join the station.
"I am so excited that I can’t say what will happen but all I can promise is that jazz will flourish and jazz lovers and the community will be happy with what we have in store," she said.
She said she's always grateful for opportunities.
"Everywhere I get the opportunity to share the platform, it's an absolute joy and a great gratitude," Nothemba said.
She said music lovers need to be prepared to enjoy.
"All I can say is watch the space. Jazz is the new thing," she said.
Nothemba has been a news presenter and producer at the SABC as well as a presenter of documentaries, magazines, sports and music shows and live broadcasts of national events.

In the press release, she said she was excited to embark on the journey with 702 and Cape Talk 567.
A statement from Primedia said the highly anticipated jazz extravaganza will be heard every Sunday from 6-9pm on channels 702 and Cape Talk 567.
"Primedia Broadcasting celebrates jazz and the arts and is proud to have esteemed radio maestro Nothemba Madumo join its esteemed ensemble as part of International Jazz Month celebrations in April," the statement said.
Welcoming Madumo, Mzo Jojwana, chief content officer, said: "The 702 family has always had a great affinity and love for jazz. We are thrilled to welcome Nothemba and look forward to her enriching our listeners' Sunday evenings with her passion for the genre."
