SKEEM Saam is introducing a new generation of pupils from Turfloop High School.

Five new school learners Mahlatse (Phillip Thobejane) and Letetswe (Mahlatse Moropo), who have already graced the screens will be joined by Lewatle (Mosa Nkwashu), Mosebjadi (Zizo Sobhutyu) and Paxton Kgomo (Thabiso Molokomme).

The SABC1 youth soapie announced the news of the new cast members via a press statement.

“In authentic Skeem Saam modus operandi, we are excited to introduce the new group of Turfloop High learners. Mahlatse and Letetswe are a duo of cousins who have already graced our screens. Two delightful young ladies Lewatle and Mosebjadiare are set to air on 12 January,” read the statement.

The late Kele Kgomo’s younger brother Paxton made a menacing appearance on 10 January.

The new cast is said to be a troublesome one and will face various problems.

“The bunch will bring life to the daily struggles that many teenagers face. Join us as we take this new journey with them and see them exposed to external and internal struggles. How will they cope with puberty, peer pressure, competition, social media influence and parental forces? Stick with #SkeemSaam every weeknight at 6.30pm on SABC1 Mzansi Fo Sho!” said the show.
