A KHAYELITSHA mother, Melezwa Mntwini (31), is devastated after she lost her children in a shack fire on Saturday, 13 April.

She told Daily Sun that she had gone out to have a “few drinks” with friends when she received a call that her shack was on fire.

Melezwa said the fire that killed her two kids, Athanande Mntwini (10) and Ingakuthi Mntwini (5), happened less than 30 minutes after she left her house.
