MURDER suspect Hendrick Johannes Visagie (42) appeared in the Waterval Boven Magistrates Court in Mpumalanga on Wednesday, 8 May.
He faces charges of murder, defeating the ends of justice, and possession of firearms and ammunition.
This was after he was arrested on 25 April, when he confessed to killing Vusi Nkosi (32), a farm worker with a hunting rifle.
Vusi (32) was reported missing on 20 April before the suspect revealed what happened to him.
Speaking to Daily Sun, police spokesman Sergeant Mandla Nxumalo said Hendricks told them that he killed Vusi because he wanted to report him to the farm owner for using the company car.

“The suspect took the police to where Vusi’s body was in the bush, and two hunting rifles were found hidden between rocks, and the other one was used to shoot the victim," said Nxumalo.
Visagie will remain in custody until 5 June for further investigation after the court discovered his other previous convictions.
The court found out that Hendrick was once convicted on a case of pointing a firearm and assault grievous bodily harm and paid a fine of R6000.
Visagie told the court that he did not want to apply for bail.
Community members and different political parties marched outside the court, singing slogan songs and holding placards written: "No bail."
They supported the Nkosi family and denounced racism, clarifying that their fight was against racism and not white people.
