Leago had been obese most of her life and struggled to lose weight naturally and decided on getting gastric bypass surgery after reaching 192kg.

My metabolism was so slow that even trying to lose weight naturally wouldn’t necessarily work for me. I had high uric acid and thyroid issues.

She adds that she was not happy with her body. 

She describes the months-long process as being “very scientific” as she had to work with an endocrinologist.
