The man who used to terrorise opposition defences wearing a Kaizer Chiefs jersey, David Radebe, does not give his former side much of a chance against Mamelodi Sundowns in their DStv Premiership clash on Thursday.

The Glamour Boys go into this DStv Premiership encounter as underdogs following their recent poor performances.

A victory over Amakhosi at FNB Stadium on Thursday evening will see the visitors being crowned the 2023/24 Premier Soccer League champions.

Sundowns have not lost a single game thus far this season.

Kick-off is at 19:30.

"Kaizer Chiefs are trying to pick up, but Sundowns are just too strong for them," says Radebe, speaking to KickOff.

"Whenever Chiefs beat Sundowns, they usually do so against the run of play. I believe Chiefs will be looking for a draw in this one.

"It's either going to be a win for Sundowns or the match will end in a draw. I don't see Kaizer Chiefs winning tonight.

"I think Sundowns will win, judging by both teams' last two games. I know Sundowns played on Monday and might be tired, but I think they are used to playing a match every three days by now.

"I know they have another big game against Stellenbosch FC on Sunday, a Nedbank Cup semi-final encounter.

"But knowing Sundowns, they are always after the results. They know how to shift their focus from one competition to another.

"They will only think about the Stellenbosch game after the Chiefs one.

"The thing is they have a big squad Sundowns and because of that everyone wants to prove himself at that club.

"On the other hand, it's painful to see a big club like Kaizer Chiefs fighting for the Top Eight, things were not smooth at Kaizer Chiefs this season."
