South Africa’s favourite broadcast personality has hit the fourth floor!

Radio personality Anele Mdoda celebrated her 40^th birthday in true lavish form with a glamorous and star-studded party on 18 May 2024.

The TRUELOVE April-June 2024 cover star made her big entrance in a showstopping white tasseled number - the first of many outfit changes - to set the tone for the ‘Vanity Affair’ theme and welcomed her guests with her rendition of Beyoncé’s Hello, much to the crowd’s delight.

Beyoncé isn’t the only artist to whom Anele showed off her vocal skills . Guests like chef Neo Nontso joined her on stage for a fun karaoke number to Giveon’s Heartbreak Anniversary and Shekinah was seen jamming to Anele’s performance of Peaches by Justin Bieber.

Other guests included Zozibini Tunzi, Leleti Khumalo, Sithelo Shozi, Celeste Ntuli, Moshe Ndiki and many others who stunned in all-white ensembles. To celebrate the 947 radio host, her guests and closest friends weren't afraid to hit those high notes and let their hair down.

Other performances by the likes of Bongeziwe Mabandla, Afro-pop trio Encore and Sizwe Dhlomo brought the house down in true Mzansi fashion as guests enjoyed the night to the fullest.
