MURDER accused Nonhle Matsebula appeared in the Protea Magistrates Court on Friday, 19 April.
The court heard that the postmortem report is still outstanding.
Advocate Miller Moela, who is the family spokesman, told Daily Sun the accused has still not provided her statement.
“The late baby Keeya Mbulawa case has been postponed to 12 July 2024, for further police investigation. The accused is still in custody. She's represented by Legal Aid,” he said.
Moela added that the Mbulawas and the Serongwanes express gratitude for the continued support from the Protea community and South Africans at large.
Matsebula is accused of kidnapping, poisoning, strangling and stuffing four-year-old Keeya's body in a suitcase in January at Protea Glen extension 1, Soweto.

It is said that she later called an e-hailing service and attempted to flee with her.
Keeya was last seen playing with friends on Saturday, 13 January.
The accused was spotted in Protea Glen by a community member who alerted the police.
Upon her arrest, the family’s spokesman said the family is struggling to deal with what they believe was betrayal by a neighbour they trusted.
“This child used to call the suspect aunty. So, she was a mum to her. The child's mum must now face someone who did to a child that regarded her as aunty,” he added.
The case was postponed to Friday, 12 July, for further investigation.
The accused will remain in custody.
